Continuing our sermon series on the book of Acts: New Power⎜New Community⎜New Mission. The author, Luke, who wrote the gospel of Luke and also the book of Acts, wrote in chapter 1, verse 1, "In the first book, [the gospel of Luke]..., I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach..." What Jesus began in Luke, he now continues in Acts. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ~ chapter 1, verse 8.
