Small Group Ministry
Get connected and grow together in Christ
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
Small groups meet once a week for 1 1/2 to 2 hours in homes across the city or online. Groups of 10 meet to study God's Word, pray and grow together in community.
The fall session runs from October to early December and then breaks for Christmas. The winter session starts up mid-January and runs through to early May. If you are interested in hosting a small group in your home, please contact Andrew & Jennifer Sarlo or contact us.

Weekly Sermon Questions for Small Group Discussion
Sermon Date: October 6, 2024
Sermon Title: Acts, New Power, New People, New Mission, Same Jesus
Discussion questions:
- Read Acts 1:1-11, what stands out to you about this passage? Is there anything you don’t understand or have questions about?
- What does this passage teach us about God? About ourselves? About God’s plan of salvation?
- What do you know about the books of Acts? What stories, characters, or topics come to mind when you think of it?
- Luke says that his first book was all that Jesus “began” to do and teach. How is Acts a continuation of Jesus’ work? How can we make sure our own ministry is based on that same foundation?
- Jesus told his disciples to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit. How can we build a habit of waiting on God into our own lives and work?
- The apostles’ vision of who would be included in the Kingdom of God was too small. Who are the people we tend to “exclude” from God’s kingdom? How does Jesus’ command in Acts 1 challenge us in our evangelism and fellowship?
- What are some different ways we can be a part of Jesus’ mission “to the end of the earth”? How are you doing with that?
- Are there any outstanding questions you have about this passage of scripture?
- How can we pray for you? Is there something from this week’s text that has challenged you that we can pray God will grow or remove in your life?
