Small Group Ministry
Get connected and grow together in Christ
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
Small groups meet once a week for 1 1/2 to 2 hours in homes across the city or online. Groups of 10 meet to study God's Word, pray and grow together in community.
The fall session runs from October to early December and then breaks for Christmas. The winter session starts up mid-January and runs through to early May. If you are interested in hosting a small group in your home, please contact Andrew & Jennifer Sarlo or contact us.

Discussion questions from Acts 9:32-43 (Sunday, February 23, 2025)
- Peter was used by God to perform 2 miracles. Compare them to the Lord healing a paralytic, Matthew 9:1-7 when Jesus healed a paralyzed man in Capernaum. Another healing of this nature was in John 5:1–10, and that man was paralyzed for 38 years. Jesus resurrected a young girl from the dead. Mark 5:35-43. Why did the Lord allow Peter to repeat these miracles?
- Sickness, suffering and death are seen in the two cities of Lydda and Joppa. What is our responsibility to those who experience these challenges? What are practical ways we can help the individuals and therir families?
- Peter was asked to come quickly to Joppa and he did so without any excuse. His response meant travelling to another city and resulted in another miracle. We may be called to aciton with the leading of the Holy Spirit. How should we respond when we are faced with a call to serve the Lord?
- Dorcas or Tabitha was known for doing good works n Acts 9:36. Why are we commanded to do good works? See Ephesians 2:8-10 Titus 2:7, 12-14
- Why was Peter staying with a tanner named Simon? How was this preparing him for a meeting with Cornelius? How does this help us in reaching out to people who are unsaved? Getting of our comfort zone may be exactly what the Lord wants us to do.
