+ - How does physical distancing work at Bethel?

A minimum of 2m (6ft) will be maintained at all times between household units in the building.
Hard plastic chairs will be set up and spaced apart to accommodate this as well as arrivals and dismissals staggered to allow for spacing.
We will only use the North parking lot and entrance. Areas not being used for the service will be blocked off.

+ - Will you provide hand sanitizer?

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance of the building. You will be required to use it upon entering.

+ - Do I need to wear a mask?

At this time, out of love for neighbour and the vulnerable among us, we are requiring all attendees to wear a mask for the duration of the service. Please bring our own mask if you have one. If not, we will provide one upon arrival.

+ - How long will the service be?

The service will be approximatlely 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. First service starting at 9:00am, the second service starting at 11:00am.
Due to restrictions there will be needed time before and after the service to get settled and dismiss attendees, so please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early.

+ - What about washrooms?

We are asking that only one person use the facilities at a time. Doors will be propped open and hand washing signs posted clearly.

+ - What about my kids?

The nursery is currently closed. Information about Sunday School can be found here. Children will be welcome to the service and must sit with their family.
We understand that maintaining social distancing with children is a challenge. As we think through these challenges we hope to have a more accommodating solution soon.
A diaper change station will be available in the women's washroom in the Fellowship Hall.

+ - Will we be participating in the Lord's Supper?

Yes, at the end of our service one of the elders will lead the congregation in the Lord's supper. Bread and grape juice will be pre-portioned in stacked cups and picked up for those who want to participate on your way into the main auditorium.
For those joining in on the Live Stream you will need to prepare your own bread and juice.

+ - Will there be congregational singing?

We believe singing is commanded in Scripture (Colossians 3:16), therefore, we will have music as part of the service. We will limit the number of songs to three at this time and require facemasks when in the building to limit airborne particles.

+ - How will the facility be cleaned?

The facility is cleaned weekly including all doors and hard surfaces. Additional considerations will be taken to minimize contact with surfaces such as doors being opened for attendees and using hard plastic chairs that are easier to move and clean as needed.

+ - What are some questions to ask before coming to Bethel?

If you have been feeling sick, have a temperature, have travelled outside of the country or to infection regions, or have come into contact with someone who has had contact with the virus, we ask that you stay home for the 14 days as recommended by our health authorities.
